November 2002: SIRTF will be carried to its unique, Earth-trailing orbit aboard this very Delta 7920H ELV. The rocket has already been painted with the SIRTF mission patch, visible on the top of the booster, near the right side of the image. SIRTF is scheduled to launch in January 2003 from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
